Bilingual Claims Assistant I
Our Client is a leading international financial services group that provides financial advice, insurance, as well as wealth and asset management solutions for individuals, groups and institutions.
The role involves conducting outbound phone calls to our customer base to get an update on their current situation, receiving inbound calls and responding to email inquiries. This heavily telephonic role also involves collaborating and liaising with your coworkers and senior staff, as need arises, on files based on the outcomes of the phone call. You will also be offering telephone and administrative support for the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Analyst role.
What you will bring to this role:
The ability to multi task, think outside the box and prioritize while working within tight deadlines is essential. A strong customer focus and ability to communicate with external and internal clients is required to successfully complete required changes within established timelines. o Bilingual (French/English) required o Post-Secondary education or related business experience o Ability to learn and apply information quickly. o Able to work independently, with minimal supervision o Attention to detail is necessary to succeed in this position o Demonstrated decision making skills o Strong Organizational skills o Self- starter with great initiative and attention to detail o Strong customer focus o Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills o Familiarity with MS Office required. Word & Excel (excel for tracking) o Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy. o Responds to challenges and opportunities in a positive and productive manner o Resilient and adaptable to change o Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with other team members o Familiarity with Medical and/or Military Terminology o Navigator system knowledge would be an asset
