Bilingual Case Manager
(Absence Management Consultation)
Our Client is a leading international financial services group that provides financial advice, insurance, as well as wealth and asset management solutions for individuals, groups and institutions.
This role is front-line client facing and has accountability for delivering superior client services and effective communication to employees and employers throughout the life of the case. The focus of the Case Manager is to work towards health, productivity and positive financial outcomes for the plan sponsor and its employees
What you will achieve in this role:
Develop, monitor and implement innovative case management services focusing on reducing the duration of plan sponsors employee work absencesIdentify and resolve disability and workplace issues through direct contact/phone consultation with plan sponsors, employees, physicians and other health care professionalsMakes recommendations on referrals to appropriate work facilitation resourcesManage medical/non-medical and complex cases using a goal oriented plan
What you will bring to this role:
University degree in Occupational Health, Psychology, Kinesiology, Nursing or related healthcare field.3+ years of work experience in a clinical setting in a health related field, preferred2-3 years of experience in customer serviceSound knowledge of occupational health issues, vocational rehabilitation and disability insuranceGood understanding of medical terminologyStrong PC skills - Windows, Word and ExcelCompletion of some related insurance industry course helpfulExcellent listening skills with the ability to quickly identify relevant issues and stakeholder needStrong negotiation skills with the ability to influence othersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated strength in customer service and conflict management skillsProven analytical, organization and decision making skills
Bilingualism (English and French) is essential
