An innovative company is seeking an experienced Beverage Sales Manager to lead product launches and expansion across multiple channels. This role is ideal for a strategic, entrepreneurial professional with a strong background in sales, distributor management, and flavor innovation. The ideal candidate has experience driving growth through partnerships with major retailers, grocery accounts, and spirit distributors, and brings a passion for shaping the next generation of beverage experiences.
Note: This is a remote plus travel position (up to 50%)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that achieve strong retail placement and category growth.
- Build and manage relationships with key accounts, including spirit distributors, grocery partners, and retail buyers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional opportunities to drive sales and profitability.
- Lead product launches into major retailers and distribution networks.
- Collaborate with brand, R&D, and marketing teams to align innovation with market trends and flavor preferences.
- Participate in trade shows, tastings, and promotional activations to strengthen brand presence.
- Analyze market data, category trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Partner with distributors and co-marketing teams to execute joint promotional programs and activations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in beverage sales, brand management, or business development.
- Proven success launching new products in beverage, CPG, or related industries.
- Significant off-premise sales experience
- Strong understanding of flavor innovation, mixology trends, and category dynamics.
- Existing relationships within spirit distribution, grocery, or retail beverage channels preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
