Senior Banquets Manager - High Volume Resort and Event Property

A premier park and resort destination known for its rolling landscapes and high-volume events is seeking a dynamic Senior Banquet Manager to lead their hospitality team. Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of 30+ employees, including 5 direct reports.
• Act as the primary liaison with the Catering Director and serve as the acting Director of Banquets when necessary.
• Manage banquet financial tasks.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and retention efforts.
• Maintain the BEO Master Book
• Oversee the security of financial transactions and establish par levels for food, beverage, and operational supplies.

Position Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s in Hospitality Mgmt. or related field is preferred.
• 5-7 years of related management experience and training.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop the banquet staff.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently (and occasionally up to 100 pounds)

• Annual salary of $60,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
