This full-time role involves representing financial institutions in mortgage foreclosure litigation and related legal proceedings. Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent financial institutions in mortgage foreclosure litigation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other necessary legal documents specific to foreclosure matters.
- Manage case files from initiation to completion, ensuring all aspects are handled according to compliance and timelines.
- Perform extensive legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
- Directly communicate with clients to discuss case progress and strategies, providing high-quality client service.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm to ensure comprehensive case management and alignment with clients' objectives.
- Participate in and contribute to training sessions and workshops to stay updated on current laws and practices.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a distinguished academic record.
- Must be admitted to the Bar in either New Jersey or Pennsylvania, depending on the job location.
- At least 2–4 years of substantive experience in mortgage foreclosure litigation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proven capability to handle all phases of foreclosure litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, and client communications.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional experience in bankruptcy proceedings is advantageous.
- Prior experience working in a large law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on client relationships.
