Behavioral Health Technicians

APN Staffing is now hiring for our client in the Scottsdale area (Detox facility). Multiple shifts open now for Nights (6:45 pm - 6:30 am) & Days (6:30 am - 6:45 pm) Specific working days to be determined. Contract long term positions, with an hourly rate of pay at $23.00 an hour.
General Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, facilitate groups, mentor clients, and provide monitoring and assistance for individuals with chemical dependency
Work in a withdrawal management, residential or outpatient setting to help create and support a safe, secure and therapeutic environment
Work with clients in the clinical programs and administers critical client referral care for medical and/or emergency treatment when necessary
Interview, screen and evaluates clients according to the established Intake process
Daily clinical documentation into client charts to ensure accurate report of daily log of shift activities and client progress
Administrative tasks associated with the Behavioral Health Tech role as directed to include (answering phone, great customer service, coordination of care, documentation needs)
General Requirements:
Practical experience of First-Aid methods and CPR techniques
Detox/with drawl experience is highly desired
Knowledge of basic computer software including MS Office
Skill assessing and evaluating emergency situations and using emergency procedures
Ability to maintain accurate and timely program records, according to prescribed standards
High school diploma or GED
Two years of full-time behavioral health work experience, (OR) an associate’s degree or is a licensed practical nurse, with at least two years of full time behavioral health work experience, (OR) A licensed Substance Abuse Technician
