BDR

Job Description
Client Summary:
  • Focus on streamlining to minimize the time and costs associated with payment processing
  • Offers outsourced Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services
  • Handles Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs) electronically, requiring efficient management and consolidation with other payment types
Position Responsibilities:
  • Drive pipeline from marketing campaigns: Rapidly and consistently work MQLs generated by direct campaigns (email nurture, webinars, in-person events) converting them into qualified sales meetings.
  • Own outbound prospecting: Execute high-volume, multi-touch outbound sequences (call, email, LinkedIn) into target accounts across ambulatory groups, dental practices and DME providers, building pipeline through marketing-generated leads.
  • Represent externally: Attend and work industry conferences, webinars and partner events to build relationships with prospects and channel stakeholders and convert conversations into qualified opportunities.
  • Deliver feedback: Serve as the connective tissue between marketing and sales, reporting on lead quality, messaging performance and conversion rates in HubSpot to continuously refine targeting, campaigns and sales enablement content.
  • Build the playbook: Develop and document a repeatable BDR framework and follow-up process that can scale as the company adds BDR headcount.
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene: Keep HubSpot activity, MQL/SQL status and opportunity data current and accurate to support marketing attribution and pipeline reporting.
  • Grow into leadership: As the function scales, help recruit, onboard and mentor additional BDRs, with a defined path toward Account Executive role and/or BDR leadership.

Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of BDR/SDR or inside-sales experience in B2B SaaS, with meaningful time spent in healthcare IT, revenue cycle management, healthcare payments, or adjacent health-tech markets strongly preferred.
  • A demonstrated track record of quota attainment — consistently hitting or exceeding targets and contributing measurable sourced or influenced pipeline to closed revenue.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare provider buying committees and workflows (CFOs, revenue cycle directors, practice administrators, billing/finance leaders) and the sales cycles typical of health systems, ambulatory groups, dental groups and DME providers.
  • Experience operating in both direct and channel-partner sales motions, with comfort co-selling alongside bank, clearinghouse or EHR/PM partner representatives.
  • Fluency with modern sales engagement and prospecting tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo or equivalent) and disciplined CRM hygiene.
  • Strong consultative discovery and qualification skills, with the judgment and market knowledge to engage credibly with senior healthcare finance and operations stakeholders from day one.
  • A self-starter mentality with the proven ability to build structure and process from the ground up as the first dedicated BDR
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach at scale.
  • Ambition and readiness to grow into a BDR team lead or Account Executive role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
