Crawford Murphy & Tilly (CMT) is looking for a project manager to join the aviation team in the Atlanta, Georgia office. This is a great opportunity for a motivated project engineer or project manager to quickly step-up their career by serving as the right-hand for the local Aviation Group leader.
In this role, the licensed engineering professional will serve as the project manager for a variety of airport projects and clients across the region. In addition, this professional will manage technical and financial aspects of various capital improvements and planning projects, as well as mentor junior staff members throughout the life cycle of projects (design, bidding, contraction administration) to deliver high-quality project deliverables to clients. Clients see CMT as an extension of their own staff, and this professional will continue to foster this culture with clients.
Relevant projects associated with this position focus on providing traditional airport consulting services, including rehabilitation of existing and construction of new airport infrastructure (i.e., runways, taxiways, apron areas, roadways, etc.), as well as associated grading, drainage, paving, lighting, marking, erosion control, fencing.
Local experience is not required, and relocation assistance will be provided.

Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience
• BS in Civil Engineering or related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Working knowledge and prior experience on civil airfield design projects utilizing FAA Specifications, Advisory Circulars, Policies & Procedures.
• Working knowledge of traditional State DOT Construction Standards & Specifications
• Prior project management experience or the desire to grow into a project manager role.
