Automotive Service Director – High-Volume Import Dealership (North of Boston)

A well-established, high-volume import dealership north of Boston is seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Director to lead its service operations. This is a rare opportunity within a stable, low-turnover dealer group, offering long-term career growth for the right candidate.

Role Overview & Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large, high-volume service departments. This role requires a process-driven leader with strong organizational and leadership skills to oversee all aspects of the department while ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. It's important that this person leads by example, brings the energy every day, and sets the ton of the department so that their team is motivated, focused, and has clear direction.

  • Extensive experience as a Service Director in a busy, high-volume dealership.
  • Ability to lead and develop a large team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Strong focus on process implementation and workflow efficiency to maximize productivity.
  • Expertise in customer service and retention strategies to enhance the dealership’s reputation.
  • Experience identifying growth opportunities while maintaining service quality and profitability.
  • Knowledge of manufacturer and dealership compliance standards.
  • Hands-on leadership approach with strong communication and employee training skills.
  • Strong track record of CSI
  • Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.
  • Stable career history with demonstrated success in similar roles.

Compensation & Benefits:
