Very busy new car dealership in the Brooklyn, NY market is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in automotive sales management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The successful candidate is a hands-on Sales Manager who leads by example and is a great coach to their team. The Automotive Sales Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales operations, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. This person will be responsible to desk deals, TO customers, hold gross, and ensure units are getting sold. Moreover, it is important that the Sales Manager hired has great energy and promotes a team oriented work atmosphere as the dealer firmly believes that the best results come from a team that works together! Must be a proactive leader and actively involved throughout the sales department. Stable dealer group with many long-term employees and positive reputation. Lastly, it is important that this person knows how to hold gross the right way to retain lifelong customers and is compliant!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer satisfaction goals.
  • Close and Desk Deals
  • Train, mentor, and coach sales staff to improve performance and enhance their sales skills.
  • Help manage inventory
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Be involved throughout the sales process to properly support the sales flow and ensure cars are getting sold
  • Lead by example, promote and ensure a team oriented environment
  • Work proactively to push sales and volume, while also ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Monitor sales metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.

Compensation:

  • Compensation will be in the $185,000 - $200,000+ range based on experience and performance.
