Automotive Sales Manager needed for stable import dealership in Champaign County, IL. This is a great opportunity with a family-owned dealership with many long-term employees and the only reason this position is available is due to the current manager relocating out of state. The successful candidate will have experience working as a Sales Manager in a new car dealership and is someone that conducts themselves in a professional manner – both in demeanor and dress. Most importantly, the Sales Manager will be responsible to lead, train, and motivate the sales staff on a daily basis to make sure that cars are getting sold, and our customers have a great buying experience. It is important that the Sales Manager hired is someone that leads by example and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. The Sales Manager will be expected to work the desk and hold gross. The successful Sales Manager is an experienced automotive professional that pays close attention to detail, gets cars sold, and knows how to get the most out of their employees in a positive way. It's important that the Sales Manager hired creates a sense of urgency in their department and brings the energy on a daily basis. Some F&I experience is a plus. There is definitely room to move the needle for a motivated Sales Manager who works deals right, ensures that leads are handled properly, and isn't afraid to work with service to get customers into new cars from the service drive. Experience working in a high end import dealership is highly preferred. Great long-term opportunity at a reputable family owned dealership with many repeat customers.
