Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Used Car Manager to lead and grow the pre-owned department at a new car dealership in Bergen County. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take full ownership of the used car operation — from acquisition to merchandising to desking deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire used car department, managing inventory, pricing strategy, and retail process.
  • Source and acquire quality pre-owned inventory through various channels.
  • Merchandize vehicles effectively to maximize online and on-lot visibility.
  • Desk deals and work closely with the sales team to close at strong grosses.
  • Bring daily energy and direction to the department — this is not a position for someone content to go through the motions.
  • Work collaboratively with dealer ownership, who are fully supportive of growing the used car operation.
  • Drive toward a department goals for used car gross
