Automotive Accounting Manager – Shared Services
Location: Tampa, FL

A large, well-established automotive group is seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Manager to lead a Shared Services team. This role oversees a team of 10 across Accounts Payable and Banking, and reports directly to the Corporate Controller. Automotive Accounting experience is required for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong processes, supporting multiple stores, and developing a team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Solid dealership accounting experience; multi-store or shared services background preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, train, and hold a team accountable
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to dig into the details when needed
  • Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of payables workflow, banking procedures, and general ledger fundamentals
  • High integrity, reliable, and committed to accuracy and timeliness

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10 across AP and Banking, providing daily direction, support, and oversight
  • Ensure all payables, reconciliations, and banking functions are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Maintain strong internal controls and help standardize processes across the group
  • Work closely with the Corporate Controller and store-level accounting teams
  • Assist with month-end close, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
  • Help troubleshoot accounting issues across multiple rooftops
