Automotive Account Manager

Our client, a global tier one automotive supplier, is looking for an Account Manager to join their growing team near Belleville, MI. This position will have responsibility for maintaining and improving revenues and market share for the North American automotive division.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager is responsible for defining, planning, and implementing strategies for all current and potential customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Build new customer relationships
  • Maintain and grow existing business relationships
  • Negotiate, quote, and obtain new business as targeted
  • Direct market channel development
  • Analyze trends and industry results to further develop market strategies
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or Engineering
  • 5+ years as a Sales or Account Manager in the automotive sector
  • Willing and able to work in office 5 days/week
