Automation Technical Specialist

Overview
Location: Home office based in the US
Duties Include:
- Monitor and guide the Regional Field Service Team members' quality focus and success
- Maintain expert technical knowledge of all Automation products by participating in training as needed
- Ability to document equipment failures to be addressed by manufacturing, understanding the relationship problem/cause/solution
- Maintain highly effective technical communication methods with FSEs and 3rd Party Service Providers
- Perform remote troubleshooting and diagnostics utilizing various software, such as video call software, phone service, and teleservice
- Support the sale and proper execution of Preventative Maintenance (PM) services
Ideal Skills/Knowledge:
- BA/BS preferred but not required if the candidate has equivalent industry experience
- At least 3 years of experience working with automated equipment, such as design, manufacturing, or troubleshooting
- In-depth, hands-on experience with lab robotics or automation systems is preferred
- Able to travel across the US
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain solutions to various technical level
- Support the sale and proper execution of Preventative Maintenance (PM) services
