Responsibilities

Plans and schedules Level 1 automation activities to support assigned area

This position is responsible to respond to equipment breakdowns, plan and schedule projects

The Level one Engineer will be responsible for a designated area and will provide back up other level Engineers in the facility and help cover their areas

The Level 1 Engineer reports directly to the Maintenance Manager

This position will routinely interact and collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisors and Operations to schedule and execute maintenance activities in adherence with safety, quality and schedule requirements

Create PLC and HMI programming specific to how our types of machines operate

Be able to troubleshoot electronic components , PLC's and controls

Safety improvement- Provides for continuous reduction of workplace hazards, risks and employee accidents

Ensures compliance with acceptable regulatory standards, reporting any issues not immediately resolvable to appropriate manager
