We are searching for a Process Control & Automation Engineer to join our client's growing team.

Basic responsibilities include:
  • Designing, programming, building and commissioning control systems for new and existing mill equipment
  • Supporting continuous improvement efforts through programming and physical modifications to increase reliability and productivity
  • Troubleshooting control systems
  • Programming PLC’s
  • Developing electrical controls and operating procedures
Qualifications
  • Process, Electrical, or Automation Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Specific, detailed, knowledge of Level 1 & 2 control systems, Allen Bradley Control Logix, and Wonderware HMI software
  • Broad electrical background including drives, PLCs
  • Ability to manage, maintain and edit large databases
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Electronic, Electrical, Process, or Automation Engineering
  • Experience with control, operation and optimization of EAF, billet caster, and material handling equipment, and implementation of AC/DC drive technology
  • AC Furnace regulation and high voltage experience
  • SQL programming competency
