JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Auto Detailer in Madison, AL. Our client is a reputable company in the automotive industry focused on high-quality final assembly and detailing. The Auto Detailer role is responsible for preparing automotive vehicles to “showroom” clean condition and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.

Responsibilities of a Detail/Custodial position include:

• Cleaning automotive windows, upholstery, mirrors, carpet, and performing interior paint touch-ups
• Driving and fueling vehicles, and assisting with vehicle alignment processes
• Cleaning offices, bathrooms, and participating in facility maintenance projects (both interior and exterior)
• Using cleaning agents and tools such as scissors, air-powered tools, cordless drills, razor knives, paint buffers, paint brushes, vacuums, lawn equipment, and pressure washers
• Following safety protocols, including respirator use as required

Job Requirements of a Detail/Custodial position:

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and read a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Previous workshop or automotive detailing experience is a plus
• Must have a good attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to work overtime on the last full weekend of each month, and as needed to meet deadlines
• Must be physically able to reach, kneel, bend, stand, stoop, twist, and work in tight spaces or at heights
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) certification physical.
