Audit Senior sought for dynamic growing firm with large footprint in eastern Stark and Mahoning and Columbiana counties. The Role of the Audit Senior

  • Plan and perform GAAP-drive audit procedures for privately-held company financial statements.
  • Show clients real value in the audit process, beyond the regulatory mandate.
  • Apply knowledge of rules and regulations over financial reporting.
  • Apply data analytics to deliver business insight and value to clients.
  • Identify audit risks based on evidence, and generate insights for clients.
  • Prepare, analyze, and verify financial statements to assess financial condition and facilitate financial planning.
  • Provide accounting insights into complex issues such as revenue recognition, share-based compensation, business combinations and internal controls.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the client's industry using key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.

Background Profile:

At least 1 year of experience supervising the planning and execution of audits

At least 2 years of experience in an auditing role in a public accounting firm

Critical thinking skills

Organizational skills

Effective leader of team members

CPA license or in process

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
