Audit Senior - Assurance & Advisory

Our firm, a well-established and highly profitable CPA firm, is looking for an Audit Senior to join our Assurance & Advisory team. Salary: DOE per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform audit, review, and other assurance services to clients in various industries
  • Understand clients' business environments, operations, and risk management practices
  • Assess and evaluate client’s internal controls and financial systems
  • Carry out detailed analytical procedures and substantive testing to identify and address accounting or reporting issues
  • Prepare and review financial statements and other client reporting deliverables with a high degree of precision
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm standards
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a public accounting environment
  • Depth of experience with nonprofits, unions, and benefit plans preferred
  • Active CPA license or progress toward obtaining the CPA license
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
