Our firm, a well-established and highly profitable CPA firm, is looking for an Audit Senior to join our Assurance & Advisory team. Salary: DOE per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform audit, review, and other assurance services to clients in various industries
- Understand clients' business environments, operations, and risk management practices
- Assess and evaluate client’s internal controls and financial systems
- Carry out detailed analytical procedures and substantive testing to identify and address accounting or reporting issues
- Prepare and review financial statements and other client reporting deliverables with a high degree of precision
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm standards
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a public accounting environment
- Depth of experience with nonprofits, unions, and benefit plans preferred
- Active CPA license or progress toward obtaining the CPA license
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards

- Experience in leading teams and managing audit engagements

- Strong interpersonal skills with proficiency in building client relationships
