Salary: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of audit engagements according to the prescribed budget and timeline, adhering to the firm’s quality control policies.
  • Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with client personnel, addressing their needs and managing their expectations.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to client’s internal controls, proposing enhancements to operational processes.
  • Handle client concerns proactively and escalate issues as necessary, keeping partners informed of engagement status.
  • Stay updated with audit industry standards and integrate best practices into daily operations.
  • Manage multiple concurrent engagements, coordinating resources and timelines effectively.
  • Make independent decisions related to audit engagements, overseeing all aspects of the projects.
  • Develop and mentor junior staff, including Interns, Associates, and Senior Associates, fostering a positive and educational work environment.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor to inspire and lead by example.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA certification, or progress towards certification is highly encouraged.
  • Minimum of 4 years' auditing experience in a public accounting firm.
  • At least 1 year's experience managing audit engagements and overseeing staff.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of auditing standards and principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Advanced specialization in financial reporting or compliance audits.
  • Proven record of managing sizable and complex audits.
