Audit Manager / Partner - Nonprofit Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct audits according to auditing standards specifically tailored for nonprofit organizations.
  • Establish robust relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact and delivering stellar client services.
  • Identify operational and financial risks or issues and suggest improvements to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate progress and outcomes of audit processes to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Ensure completion of audit projects aligning with engagement timelines, firm objectives, and client expectations.
  • Occasional travel to client sites to facilitate audits and strengthen client partnerships.
  • Engage in and contribute to training sessions and firm-wide activities to uphold the firm’s standards of excellence.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • A profound passion for serving nonprofit organizations expressed through previous roles or engagements.
  • Demonstrated loyalty and an eagerness to embrace continuous learning within the accounting and nonprofit sectors.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, preferably within a public accounting environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field is required.
  • Active CPA license or significant progress toward obtaining CPA certification.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication aptitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
