Our client is very well known in the Telecommunications industry. The client is looking for an Audio-Visual Technical Sales you will be working in Richmond Hill. Our client is a Telecommunications firm that has 30 years’ experience at the forefront of videoconferencing implementation in order to serve the corporate, education, health and government sectors. As an Audio-Visual Sales you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Meet current clients accompanied by Sales Representatives, to determine solutions/modifications and to provide technological advice and expertise in order to meet their expectations
• Knowledge of value-added services such as project management, consultation, engineering, programming and training
• Create innovative videoconferencing/audio Visual solutions to meet client’s requirements, as well as create diagrams in Visio
• Create cabling and electrical connections/AV plans using AutoCAD
• In collaboration with project manager, assist with project planning by creating timetables/schedules, monitor quality of work of subcontractors and installation technicians, perform tests on equipment and their assembly
• Upon completion of work, identify corrections to be made, perform a pre-set report to assess work performed to ensure automation software meets client’s requirements in accordance with the Statement of Work
• Additional duties include, support new technical employees through training and respond to sales representatives’ inquiries

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in AV/Designer/Engineering
• Five years’ experience in a similar position within videoconferencing and/or AV industry
• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• Experience in the installation of Videoconferencing/AV equipment and systems
• Experiencing in Programming control Systems (Crestron and/or AMX)
• Exemplary customer service orientation
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, Visio and AutoCAD
• Vehicle License
