- Build and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Mentor and guide exceptional support staff
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Being licensed or able to become licensed in the state of California
- A minimum of three years of experience is required
- Experience in general medicine, basic dermatology, and basic surgery skills required
- Ability to teach and interact with clients, as well as knowledge of production and how it relates to the viability of the practice
- Skills in ultrasound, acupuncture or endoscopy are a PLUS
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
- Team player with a demonstrated passion for continuous learning
