Our client is located in Clarks Summit, PA. A charming small town located in northeastern Pennsylvania, just a few miles north of Scranton. It offers a variety of local shops, restaurants, and cafés, making it a great place for a slower pace. The area is known for its outdoor recreation, with nearby attractions like Lackawanna State Park, which features hiking trails, fishing spots, and picnic areas. Clarks Summit is also home to annual events like the Festival of Ice, which attracts visitors with ice sculptures and winter activities. Being close to Scranton, locals and visitors have easy access to larger city activities, including the Steamtown National Historic Site and Montage Mountain for skiing and concerts. Practice Overview

Our client, an AAHA-accredited practice, has been serving the local community since 2012 and doesn’t plan to stop providing the gold standard of medicine to their patients and clientele any time soon. They are equipped with IDEXX in-house labs, full dental X-rays, digital X-rays, ultrasound, and more! As a team, they’ve cultivated a positive and uplifting environment where collaboration is always welcomed. With a hard-working and diligent team, you can expect a smooth transition into this practice. Since work-life balance is a priority, you can also look forward to no weekends or overnights!

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Nurture and maintain client relationships
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
  • Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
  • Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
  • Maintain a positive work environment

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
  • Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Ability to perform general wellness exams and surgeries
  • New Graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
