Location

Our client is located in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. Oak Ridge is a small, charming town between Winston-Salem and Greensboro, known for its welcoming community & historic character. Oak Ridge has a wonderful school system in Guilford County, and is a wonderful place to raise children and reside. Get out in nature and take a 1-hour drive to the mountain trails or 3-hours to the beach! With all the shops, festivals, restaurants and amenities, beautiful parks, and walking trails (including the Mountains-to-Sea Trail), this beautiful community is truly a place to call home.

Practice Overview

Our client's private and locally owned practice has just opened the doors to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility! This 5,400 sqft hospital features a dedicated surgery suite, surgical laser for advanced procedures, and dental radiography for precision in dental care. We also have in-house ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and acupuncture services, allowing us to provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic options to our patients. What You’ll Be Working On

  • Nurture and maintain client relationships
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
  • Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
  • Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
  • Maintain a positive work environment
  • Build community relationships
  • Establishing work and home-life balance

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
  • Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of North Carolina
  • New Grads are encouraged to apply!
  • Ability to perform general wellness exams and surgeries/dental
  • Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
