Location
Our client is located in Highland, NY which is conveniently located right near the Hudson River. They’re in an ideal location only an hour and a half away from the bustling city of New York which is great for a day trip or a quick weekend getaway. This charming location is perfect for someone who thrives in the outdoors, hiking, walking, and biking. This historical town is also home to the Presidential Library and Museum of Franklin D. Roosevelt as well as his residence. Across the Hudson River, there is even more history, colleges, entertainment, and scenic views to explore.
Practice Overview
Our client take incredible pride in building a supportive and welcoming community at the practice. They are an extremely talented and competent team that believes client education is highly important to ensure health and happy pets. When it comes to treating their patients, they use a holistic approach to find the root cause and treat it from there. Their recently renovated space provides all the bells and whistles you’ll need such as ultrasound, digital dental X-ray, digital X-ray, cold laser therapy, and in-house lab. They are an overall compassionate and educated veterinary team that always strives to provide the best care possible for their patients and clients.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Nurture and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
- Maintain a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of New York
- A minimum of two years of experience is preferred
- Proficient in surgery
- General Practice and Urgent Care experience is preferred
- Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to work independently

- Salary of $120,000-$150,000 Depending on Experience
