Our client is located in San Diego close to the San Diego Airport. Practice Overview

Our client has been serving the local community for general wellness needs since 1998 which has evolved over the years to be the incredible practice it is today! Having that 4-day work work provides a great work-life balance to avoid burnout. They are equipped with dental radiology, ultrasound, K-laser, in-house IDEXX lab, and ultrasound, and are open to bringing in any additional equipment to ensure you have what you need to practice high-quality medicine. To ensure your day-to-day success, you’ll have a supportive team of educated and experienced technicians by your side. Overall, this opportunity provides a loyal clientele base, a supportive team, and the ability to practice high-quality medicine.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Nurture and maintain client relationships
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
  • Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
  • Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
  • Maintain a positive work environment

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited program is required.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of California.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Proficient in conducting general wellness exams, surgeries, and dentals.
  • 1+ years of experience is a plus!
  • Experience with ultrasound is a plus
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn and develop professionally.
  • Interest in working with exotics is a plus!
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated compassion for both patients and clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
