Associate, Strategic Donor Initiatives

As the Strategic Donor Initiatives Associate, you’ll be the initial point of contact for Strategic Donor Initiatives, maintain the grants management system, and support the Donor Advised grantmaking process from start to finish. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all administrative functions of targeted and select Donor Advised open grants from file creation to closing grant files, working closely with Vice President, Strategic Donor Initiatives and relevant Program staff
  • Accurately and efficiently complete copy projects as assigned by Vice President, Strategic Donor Initiatives and Program staff
  • Conduct due diligence by verifying tax-exempt status of prospective grantees, charitable purpose of grant and funding availability for grant

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, or similar experience in office environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone presence; ability and comfort in working with and relating to individuals of diverse views and backgrounds
