Associate Attorney

Construction Litigation Attorney – San Francisco, CA

Our client, an established boutique law frim is seeking an experienced Construction Litigator to join their San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defending complex construction defect and related litigation matters and be comfortable managing cases from inception to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of construction defect litigation and related matters independently.

• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery motions.

• Take and defend depositions, including expert and party witnesses.

• Prepare and respond to written discovery.

• Manage all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and support.

• Collaborate with clients, experts, and team members to develop litigation strategies.

• Maintain accurate case files and time records.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to the California Bar.

• Minimum of 3–6 years of construction litigation experience (defense preferred, but plaintiff experience considered).

• Proven ability to handle depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
