Our client, a boutique plaintiff’s litigation firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its dynamic and growing practice. The firm represents individuals in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, employment, tenant-side landlord-tenant, and civil rights matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious attorney who wants hands-on litigation and courtroom experience while making a tangible difference for victims of civil injustice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.

  • Draft pleadings, briefs, discovery responses, and correspondence.

  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies under partner supervision.

  • Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel in a professional and empathetic manner.

  • Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions; trial experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership in good standing.

  • 2–10 years of civil litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).

  • Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills.

  • A passion for social justice and client advocacy.

  • Desire for significant courtroom exposure and responsibility early in your career.
