A highly respected plaintiff-side law firm with a decades-long reputation for excellence in trial work and social justice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated junior attorney to gain hands-on litigation experience, develop strong trial skills, and be mentored by accomplished trial lawyers in the areas of personal injury, employment law, and civil rights.
The right candidate will have excellent research and writing abilities, a passion for advocating for individuals, and a desire to grow into a leadership role over time.
Responsibilities:

Assist with all phases of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, and depositions

Support case strategy and planning in collaboration with senior attorneys

Participate in court hearings, mediations, and trials with increasing responsibility as skills develop

Maintain strong client communication and contribute to building lasting relationships

Engage in firm development and community presence
Qualifications:

Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

1–3 years of civil litigation experience preferred (law clerk, externship, or clinical experience will be considered)

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Demonstrated interest in plaintiff-side litigation and a commitment to justice
