Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex healthcare litigation cases with minimal supervision.
- Draft, review, and manage the filing of pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Handle all aspects of the discovery process, ensuring timely and strategic responses.
- Prepare for and contribute to depositions, advocating effectively for our clients.
- Advise healthcare entities on a broad spectrum of legal issues, including compliance and risk management.
- Collaborate with a national team to develop and implement litigation strategies that align with clients’ goals.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputed law school.
- Active bar admission in Tennessee.
- At least 2 years of experience in complex litigation, healthcare litigation preferred.
- Strong legal writing skills with experience drafting various legal documents.
- Proven capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managed care and reimbursement disputes.
- Background in medical malpractice and medical staffing legal issues.
- Experience representing large hospitals or healthcare systems in litigation.
