Salary: $260,000 - $390,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on public company reporting and compliance requirements.
- Lead and support transactions in the capital markets sector.
- Guide both public and private corporations on corporate governance issues.
- Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers to manage cross-functional legal matters.
- Participate in drafting and negotiating substantial legal documents.
- Engage directly with clients to build relationships and trust, understanding their business needs and legal requirements.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with an outstanding academic record.
- Bar admission in either Colorado, Oregon, or Washington as required by the job location.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal roles focused on public company reporting, compliance, capital markets, and corporate governance.
- Proven track record of legal writing and communication excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal analysis and client interaction with professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an AmLaw 50 or similarly prestigious law firm environment.
- Specialization in securities and capital markets law is highly preferable.
- Expertise in M&A and other transactional work is desirable.
- Proactive approach and a strong team player ethos.
- Ability and willingness to mentor junior team members.
