We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join the team at a premier luxury retail boutique, nestled among the most prestigious names in fashion.

As the right hand to the Store Manager, you’ll be a driving force behind the success of this Fifth Avenue boutique. From team coaching and operational excellence to clienteling and visual storytelling, you’ll lead with style and substance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspire and lead a best-in-class sales team while fostering a culture of excellence, energy, and elegance.

• Assist with team scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and development.

• Manage store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, reporting, and inventory coordination.

• Own the client experience—build relationships, nurture client books, and lead by example on the sales floor.

• Partner on visual merchandising strategies, floor sets, and product storytelling with an impeccable eye.

• Use business insights and KPIs to drive performance and exceed sales goals.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in luxury or premium retail environments, ideally in a leadership role.

• A confident, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach to team management and customer service.

• Proficiency in POS and inventory systems (Cegid experience a plus), and fluency in Microsoft Office tools.

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude.

• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating memorable shopping experiences.

• Degree in Retail, Fashion, or Business a plus; French language skills are a bonus.

This is a full-time, in-person position located on Fifth Avenue, NYC. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential. Occasional travel to other boutique locations may be required.

Physical requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and comfortably move about the sales floor and stockroom throughout the day.

Generous perks and salary range $82,000-$84,00 base plus bonus
