Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in Heavy Highway or Civil Construction
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management preferred
  • Expertise in Self Performed Heavy Civil/HHWY Construction
  • Experience in managing self-perform forces in earthwork, underground, concrete structures and/or paving is preferred

Responsibilities

  • As the Assistant Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for assisting the execution of various projects such as Heavy Civil projects.
  • You will be part of a team of a Project Manager, Superintendent and associated field management.
  • You will be responsible for managing subordinates and subcontractors.
  • This position’s accountability includes, but is not limited to: Pre-construction, Project Set-up, Project Cost-Control, Scheduling, Submittals, Scheduling, Change Orders, Cost Control, Complete Project Oversight, and Profit & Loss.

Our client repairs bridges throughout the Southeast, are very busy and has a strong, comprehensive bonus program.
