Assistant Office Manager

  • Assist with hiring/recruiting Admin/Accounting Staff
  • Train and Supervise Administrative/Accounting Staff
  • Verify/Audit Payroll Register prior to issuance of Payroll Checks prior to Controller approval
  • Review of Accounting General Ledger and Accounting Schedules
  • Assist with preparation of monthly sales tax return. Pay and submit, timely, monthly return. Audit return for compliance. Verify proper exemption documents support tax exemptions (Sales, Service & Parts)
  • New/Used/Other Vehicle Physical Inventory performed and reconciled once a month
  • All monthly reconciliations are complete & accurate
  • All non-scheduled accounts are reconciled and accounted accurately on a monthly basis, and daily reconciliations such as Bank & P-Card accounts are accurate and timely
  • Monitor/Manage/Complete Month End Processes


  • Must have strong CDK DMS experience
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment with the ability to lead and influence others
  • Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
  • Experience in building and working with strong teams
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
