Assistant Manager - Fertilizer Operations
Ag 1 Source is looking for an Assistant Manager - Fertilizer Operations - to join a dynamic team in the agriculture supply chain. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with proven leadership experience in the fertilizer industry.

What you will be doing:
- Assisting in the management of daily operations, including overseeing equipment, maintenance activities, and rolling stock.
- Supervising and supporting a four-person operational team to ensure smooth performance.
- Training new hires and leading the onboarding process.
- Enforcing safety protocols and compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
- Preparing operational budgets and maintaining accurate records for operational efficiency.
A successful candidate for this Assistant Manager role will possess the following:
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in the fertilizer industry.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- A valid Class A CDL or willingness to obtain one within 120 days of employment (company-paid).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance standards (DOT, OSHA, PSM).
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to manage and motivate teams.
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance experience are a plus.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience, $80-125K.
