The Associate Engineering Manager will be responsible for the leadership and development of product engineering teams in new product development & innovation, sustaining engineering, and cost improvement programs. Directly interfaces cross-functionally with Product Management, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and other key functional areas to foster alignment and support of the strategic initiatives of the business. Performs a key part in developing and applying basic product development, innovation, and lean processes. Develops, broadens, enhances organizational capabilities, enhancement of partnerships with suppliers, and engages with external organizations as well as across different divisions. Supervise and direct planning, budgeting, and assignment of personnel.


  • Develop a robust pipeline of innovative new products based on strong VOC understanding of customer applications and supplemented by working knowledge of core technology
  • Leading development and ensure accuracy of all specifications, models, and drawings
  • Management of Bills of Materials, Engineering Change Notifications, and Engineering Change Requests to products using disciplined documentation management within SolidWorks and Aras platform
  • Responsible to ensure all engineering work is accurate, timely, and financially supportive of business strategies and objectives
  • Collaborates to secure alignment with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Product Management and related functional areas to ensure KPI’s are consistently met or exceeded
  • Acts proactively as a working manager in all duties, responsibilities of engineering subordinates and engagements
  • Establish and maintain a liaison with industry associations, regulatory agencies, and suppliers for the betterment of our industry standing, proactive leadership in the representing the company on proposed regulations and remain abreast of technological advancements within the industry and related adjacencies
  • Providing leadership, coaching, staff development and day-to-day direction of engineering team subordinate members to ensure operational excellence
  • Periodically review nonexempt and exempt employees and recommend for merit, career promotions, and/or recognitions of accomplishments
  • Translate company strategies into cascade of SMART goals while also supporting the professional development of personnel, maintenance and improvements of costs, and control of quality and quantity of work of employees
