About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Assistant Controller with at least 3+ years of audit experience in auditing clients from Technology and Professional Services industries and has excellent understanding of different accounting rules

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Regional Finance team members, and functional leaders to help manage the development of processes and procedures
  • Support with the analysis of financial results, accounting systems and internal controls environment, and financial statements' preparation
  • Support Americas regional financial operations with month-end results, and the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Contribute in revenue recognition, accounts payable and payroll activities
  • Create and maintain professional relationships with external auditors and tax advisors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or relevant field is required. CPA, CA designation is a must
  • Experienced Accounting Professional with 3+ years of audit experience in auditing clients from Technology and Professional Services industries, great degree of understanding of different accounting rules, US GAAP is an advantage
  • Excellent understanding of the income tax provision (ASC 740)
  • Background working in foreign currency accounting
  • Background in analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports
  • Proficient abilities in Excel and computer systems (SAP B1 and Business Objects knowledge is preferred)
  • Strong performer with a competitive skill set in financial modelling
  • Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
