Assistant bookkeeper in South Jersey

Some responsibilities but not limited to:

General bookkeeping and data entry

General and administrative clerical work.

May be asked to follow up on client collections calls.

  • Process Account Receivable/Payable
  • Conduct reconciliation all accounts on and as needed basis
  • Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
  • Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years of strong experience in bookkeeping and report preparation.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel. Candidate must be able to use functions including VLOOKUP.
  • Self-motivated, great organizational skills, detail-oriented, accurate, and able to multi-task.
  • Must be a self-starter who understands time management.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
