Assistant Agronomy Manager – SW Kansas

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Agronomy Manager in daily operations and decision-making processes.
• Coordinate with manufacturer representatives on programs and rebates to secure competitive pricing.
• Help develop and implement effective product lines that maximize profitability for both the cooperative and its members.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of chemicals, seeds, and fertilizers.
• Support purchasing activities for the agronomy department.

Qualifications:

• Strong agronomic skills, with a solid understanding of field operations and sales.
• Excellent customer service abilities, focusing on relationship-building with cooperative members.
• Leadership skills to manage and direct team members in daily and long-term plans.
• Familiarity with P&L statements and budgeting processes.
• Experience in working with vendors and developing effective programs.

Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, depending on experience.
