Asset Manager – Multifamily & Real Estate Investments

We’re partnering with a growing, entrepreneurial real estate investment firm seeking a dynamic Asset Manager to join their team. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role offering exposure across the full investment lifecycle—from acquisitions through asset and portfolio management.

You’ll work across a diverse multifamily portfolio (Class A–D), portfolios, and opportunistic investments, playing a key role in shaping strategy, optimizing performance, and driving investment outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Asset & Portfolio Performance
  • Optimize leasing, occupancy, pricing, expenses, and capital execution to maximize NOI
  • Monitor KPIs including revenue growth, expense ratios, and debt service coverage
  • Lead Financial Strategy & Modeling
  • Build and manage cash flow models, forecasts, and scenario analyses
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Execute Capital & Debt Strategy
  • Oversee refinancing, recapitalizations, and capital deployment
  • Monitor loan performance and ensure covenant compliance
  • Shape Investment Decisions
  • Perform hold/sell analyses and valuation assessments
  • Support acquisitions and execution of business plans
  • Oversee CapEx & Business Plan Execution
  • Ensure capital projects are delivered on time and aligned with strategy
  • Drive post-acquisition execution with a proactive, process-driven approach
  • Leverage Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Analyze economic, demographic, and competitive trends
  • Benchmark portfolio performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Partner & Communicate Across Stakeholders
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, leadership, lenders, and investors
  • Prepare and present performance reports, insights, and recommendations

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8+ years of experience in asset management, real estate investments, underwriting, or related field
  • Multifamily experience preferred (conventional, affordable, student, or similar)
  • Backgrounds considered: asset management, development underwriting, lending/capital markets
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with debt strategy, refinancing, and capital planning
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect strategy to execution
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work on-site in Wayne, PA (5 days/week)
