Asset Manager

Our client is seeking a driven Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of real estate properties. This role involves formulating and executing asset-level strategies, driving operational performance, and playing a key role in leasing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong real estate acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven ability to deliver results that enhance property value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute strategic asset plans to meet financial and operational objectives for each property.

  • Evaluate asset performance through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for value creation via capital investments, improved operations, and repositioning strategies.

  • Coordinate with property management to ensure successful completion of capital projects on time and on budget.

  • Support leasing efforts by conducting market analysis, negotiating lease terms, and maintaining tenant relationships.

  • Ensure day-to-day property operations are efficient and tenant satisfaction remains high.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with leasing brokers, lenders, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Conduct routine property inspections and competitive market research.

  • Present regular performance reports to senior leadership.

  • Ensure all assets comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 5–7 years of experience in asset management, ideally across a portfolio of both commercial and residential properties.

  • Demonstrated history of increasing asset value through proactive management.

  • Strong financial analysis skills and knowledge of real estate markets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share insights and support team development.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools.

  • Strong understanding of real estate laws and regulatory requirements.
