Our client is a dynamic and growing real estate development and management company specializing in the acquisition, development, and operation of commercial and multifamily real estate. As the organization continues to expand the portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Asset Manager to join their Charlotte, NC office. The Asset Manager will play a key role in driving asset performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and maximizing returns across our real estate holdings.

What You’ll Do:

Serve as the strategic lead for a portfolio of properties, ensuring they achieve their financial and operational goals. This role requires close collaboration with property management, development, finance, and executive leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of business plans for each asset to maximize value and performance
  • Analyze monthly/quarterly financials, budget-to-actual variances, rent rolls, and operating metrics
  • Collaborate with property management teams to ensure high occupancy, tenant satisfaction, and cost control
  • Monitor leasing activity, market trends, and recommend strategic adjustments as needed
  • Manage capital improvement projects in coordination with the development team
  • Conduct hold/sell analyses, assist in disposition strategies, and support underwriting of new investments
  • Track and report asset-level performance to internal stakeholders and external partners/investors
  • Ensure compliance with loan covenants and assist with lender/investor reporting packages
  • Provide input for annual budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio-level reporting

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate asset management, acquisitions, or development
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of real estate financials, leasing, operations, and capital planning
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
