About the Company:
Our client is a globally recognized leading integrator and manufacturer of high quality tooling and robotic systems. They assist in providing their clients with custom turn key robotic solutions and have prior experience working in industries such as food and beverage, aerospace, automotive and nuclear.
They are expanding their team and are looking to add a experienced Assembly Technicians to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands on mechanical assembly of tools and equipment based on technical drawings
- Support team of assembly technicians by performing assigned daily tasks
- Attend pre job meetings to ensure understanding of project scope
- Confirm kitting is complete and that all required tools and parts are on site prior to commencing build
- Assist technicians with daily activities ensuring installs are being done correctly
- Coordinate with team lead, supervisor and parts department to order tools and materials to sites
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies while on sites
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Post secondary diploma and/or certificate in a relevant field (i.e. mechanical engineering or Millwright)
- Prior working experience directly in the nuclear industry is considered to be a strong asset
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Possess strong mechanical expertise
- Prior experience operating a variety of hand and power tools
