Assembly - Sander

Temporary assembly position for cabinet manufacturing company. This position will be until the end of the year.

DESCRIPTION:

1. This is an entry level position. Anyone with a great attitude, attendance, and manufacturing/carpentry skills who wants to grow their job into a career is encouraged to apply.
2. Looking for applicants who are willing to learn our Standard Operating Procedures.
3. Self starters that problem solve and enjoy a fast paced environment.
4. Applicants that possess assembly skills, woodworking knowledge, finish experience, warehouse/shipping, etc. are preferred.
5. Installation of accessories into cabinet boxes, including but not limited to hinges, doors, drawer guides and boxes using power and hand tools
6. Prep cabinets for assembly and cut shelves
7. Inventory of materials needed for assembly
8. Troubleshoot problems and make corrections to deliver defect-free product to final inspection
9. Assist in other areas of production as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• General labor candidates are expected to have good attendance and be flexible with daily assignments.
• Maintain a good attitude and be willing to learn.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work in hot and cold environment

Safety Expectations:

• Adhere to all production and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Reports all safety concerns or issues to Division Manager/HR.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Hours: Mon. - Fri., 6 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
