Job Description:
The Architectural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings and plans that meet the specifications and requirements of various projects. This role demands a strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with familiarity in Revit being a plus. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure the accurate and timely completion of drafting assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Detailing: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and blueprints using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and translate them into precise technical drawings.
- Revisions and Updates: Revise and update drawings as needed based on feedback from architects, clients, and construction teams.
- Quality Control: Ensure all drawings are complete, accurate, and comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of drawings, plans, and related documents for easy access and reference.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to the project team during the design and construction phases.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Familiarity with Revit is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of architectural standards, building codes, and construction methods.
