Job Description:

The Full-Time Architect will be responsible for managing various phases of architectural projects from conception through completion. This role requires a strong technical foundation, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and construction teams. The successful candidate will possess a blend of design expertise, technical proficiency, and construction administration experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Meetings: Meet with partners and supervisors to discuss project objectives, needs, and budget, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed technical drawings for new buildings, renovations, or restorations using AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
  • Presentation Drawings: Develop presentation drawings and renderings to visually communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Consultant Coordination: Meet with engineering consultants and coordinate work between various consultants to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Site Visits: Visit building construction sites to monitor progress and quality, completing field reports to document observations.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving any issues that arise during construction, providing technical support and solutions to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Accredited bachelor’s degree in architecture or a similar degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in an architectural role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word; experience with other software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp) is a plus.
  • Construction administration experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
