Architect

Our client is seeking a Project Architect to join their architectural firm. The ideal candidate will be a licensed professional who can provide comprehensive architectural leadership throughout all project phases. This position will be remote.

Intro/Summary
This role offers an opportunity to lead significant architectural projects while mentoring junior staff and maintaining the highest standards of design excellence. The position requires someone who can independently apply advanced architectural concepts while serving as a technical expert within the organization.

Job Duties

• Lead architectural design from concept through construction, making independent design decisions and ensuring code compliance
• Oversee document production and quality control for entire drawing packages
• Manage and coordinate with consultant teams while providing clear design direction
• Guide project initiation, including team composition and expertise assessment
• Conduct due diligence regarding zoning, building codes, and authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
• Lead construction administration phase as main project point of contact
• Mentor junior staff and implement company standards

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture required
• Current architectural license/certification
• Proven experience managing complex architectural projects
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulatory requirements
• Advanced knowledge of architectural documentation and construction processes
